Friends

On Saturday Sthandwa and i went to visit our couple friends Memo and Glady. It had been long since we had seen each other and with all the exam pressure visiting friends wasn't a priority at all. The last time we had seen them was in February when they had their first baby Anita.

So we got there at around 2 and we sat and talked. Glady wasn't there when we arrived and when he finally did Memo and i went into the kitchen to have some girl talk. I had really missed her and it felt so good to be talking to her. I then realised that she had become my best friend without me even realising it. She's one person i can tell my personal stuff without fear of being judged or it being leaked to someone else. So i officially have 3 best friends AGAIN. I say again because at some point i had 3 besties but had to drop one because there wasnt that connection at all so we broke things off although we never really talked about it, w just drifted apart.

The four of us were in the same class at college that's why we click soo much. Th problem we have with our other couple friends is that we are connected by one party. Take for example Nyika and Eunie. I was best friend with Eunie since High School and when she got married to Nyika i had to get used to Nyika and then Sthandwa had to get used to Nyika. When we are together i realised that there are those awkward moments of silence when we split guys on their own and girls on their own. It really makes me uncomfortable. Those moments are also experienced when we are out with Arthur and Lister as well as Paida and Ezekiel. Not cool at all. But I was happy that everything was ok with Memo and Glady.

So we had a great time, talked a lot, played with baby Anita, watched TV and did a whole lot of other fun stuff. We resolved that we should do it more often especially outdoors.

I bought me some jackets....yay

So yesterday my sister bought thesenice jackets that she was selling. The day before yesterday i had promised myself that i was going to invest in a lot of jackets this winter. The jackets that Mel(my sister) was selling were not that expensive but considering my budget, my pocket was really wounded....lol. So i took four of them and now i owe her $40. I took 2 for myself and 2 for my boyfriend (Sthandwa).

You see, i have been going out with Standwa for almost 4 years ow but i havent introduced him to my family yet (this will require a separate post). So i know that one of these days Mel and Sthandwa are going to bump into each other when Sthandwa is wering one of the two jackets and she's going to ask me how the jacket got to him. Well, i'll find the answer when i'm asked the question...lol

Winter is upon us

Yesterday i wanted to go for a morning jog but when i was about to step out of bed a wave of cold hit me and i went back straight into my blankets. I usually wake up at around 10 past 6 but yestarday i woke up at 6.45 and i almost didnt go to work coz it was really cold.

I think it's time i bought a car because the cold that hit me while i was walking to the bus station was too much to bear. My eyes were watery and my ears were aching from the cold. I also need to invest in a lot of jerseys and jackets.

This has to be the coldest winter ever, or maybe it's because these previous years i havent been waking up early to go anywhere but i'm pretty sure that while i was still going to school it was just as cold coz i had to wake up as early as 5.
